I thought Scotland or Ireland too. Scotland it is. The low tide shots reminded me of a few places I saw near Cardiff along the coast. I’d love to go back. Is the bridge perhaps in Stirling? Though I suppose many bridges in Scotland look like that one. You make me want to travel again!

I’m glad the photos are inspiring you to travel again! The bridge is the one that goes across the water to the Castle. The castle is called Eilean Donan, and was used in the movie The Highlander with Christopher Lambert.

  8. wow! this pics are very beautiful :)

That’s a very good guess Amy! Most of the pics are the Isle of Skye. The castle is Eilean Donan, back on the mainland. I hope you get back to the UK one day. It is so beautiful.

  11. I deliberately come to your WW each week late in the hope someone else can guess it before me! LOL! :)
Gorgeous shot though. Looks like a beautiful place. x

The reflections in the water were so clear and perfect. The Castle is Eilean Donan and the rest were on the Isle of Skye.

  13. Oh oh oh! I guessed right! I have been to the Isle of Skye many moons ago. I love Scotland. My father was from a small town outside of Glasgow.

  17. I thought it may be Ireland, but I can see from the comments that it is indeed Scotland. Stunning! I have spent much time in Ireland – just love those green fields and rugged coastline. Always wanted to venture to Scotland too – all those gorgeous Isles. Lucky you!
