Welcome to Fun Fridays!

big4_playground

In case you haven’t noticed, I’ve been trying to stay with some themes for my regular Monday, Wednesday and Friday posts.  Monday is the day to ‘Get Sorted’ so I’ll write about organisation and the like.  Wednesday’s focus is ‘Take Care’ of ourselves, our family, our environment.  Friday is usually when I write a bit of a funny (usually CrashBoy is the star!), and it’s also the day I want us all to ‘Have Fun’.

So, I’m officially welcoming you to Fun Friday!  You can expect something funny or a post about having fun here on the blog.  I’ll also find some funnies to share with you on Facebook to keep the giggles going.

Over the next few weeks I’m going to make it a bit of a mission to crash test some ideas for ‘Family Fun’ in my city.  Each week there will be a bit of a theme so you can join the challenge no matter where you live.  For example, this week my theme is ‘The Mini Break’

Now this one could be considered a bit of a scouting mission sans CrashKids, because I’m going to the Big 4 Mothers’ Night Out at the Big 4 Bellarine Holiday Park tomorrow.  I’ll be joined by a crowd of awesome mums who blog who will descend on Big 4 Bellarine for a day and night of unimaginable fun!  If you want to see what we’re all up to, you can follow the Twitter hashtag #Big4MNO and I’ll post some pics to Facebook too :)

And in case you were thinking that I’ll be sleeping in a tent or caravan – here’s where I’ll be sleeping in on Sunday morning ;)

Do you get away for the weekend every now and then?  What family friendly places are near you?

ps This isn’t a sponsored post, I’m just super excited about being hosted at Big4 Bellarine this weekend with a bunch of awesome mums!  Images from Big 4 Bellarine Holiday Park :)

  2. Sounds a good plan. You’ll build up a great archive of fun things to do and that’ll be really handy for parents who’re coming to visit Melbourne with the kids.

A mums’ night away sounds great… and I’m just at the airport heading home after four nights away, such a huge treat and so relaxing. Now I’m ready for anything!! Which is handy….
