Well, it’s not really the final say, but it is a big thank you to everyone you participated in this project. Over 50 of you contributed a ‘truth’, some of which were used with your photos to make the Truth Part 2 video. There were also some really heartfelt writing from readers who shared there stories about Hitting the Wall.
As promised (and sorry it’s taken me a while to decide!), I am paying forward my Happiness Inspires Happiness reward to one of you.
The winner of a $100 Visa gift card is Lauren from The Surprise Beginning.
Lauren wrote about a common downfall – comparing oneself to others – and how it was making her feel. She had hit a wall when she stumbled across the Truth Part 2 video.
I love that not only did the video of all your contributions change Lauren’s perspective, but inspired her to set herself and others a challenge. A challenge to define yourself. She even took it one step further and created an entry for the Urban Dictionary for her name. Here’s a sample:
“That girl is such a Lauren, whenever she falls down she picks herself right back up and carries on because she knows she is loved.”
She’s got me thinking – how would I define myself in this way?
“There must be a better way to do this! I know, I’ll do a Laney – stop moaning, start looking for solutions and crash test the hell out of it!” (heh heh)
Congratulations Lauren!
Thank you to all the wonderful mummas who contributed to the project. Some of these you won’t have seen yet. I hope you enjoy!
