Who is our Crash Test Mummy of the Week?
Stacey-Lee is a part-time working mum from Jimboomba, Queensland
Who do you live with?
Hubby, Junior Perfectionist (boy nearly 11yrs old), Little Devil (girl aged 7) & Bubba (boy aged 4) and 2 dogs.
How old were you when you first became a mum?
What do you love about being a parent?
The energy they bring to my life, the unconditional love that you never knew possible until you have kids.
What is the most difficult thing about being a parent?
Knowing when to shield them from the nastiness of the world and when to let them learn for themselves. Giving each child enough attention, without giving one too much over another. Discipline.
What daily task do you wish was easier?
Kids bedtime, which we are working on. In the interest of fairness, I have always sent my kids all to bed at the same time – think fights over bathroom use, etc. I never thought to stagger it, we are now but it is a big change for my three.
What superpower would you like to have and why?
The ability to be in more than one place at a time.
If you had time to take care of yourself, what would you focus on?
Health – mental & physical
What is your idea of fun?
Crafting, organising & making stuff.
What question would you like to ask the Crash Test Community?
How do you get your kidlets to do as they are told? My youngest two are naughty little monkeys and this can be a huge challenge for me on a daily basis. Don’t know what I did with the first one but he does as he’s told, when he hears me over whatever screen he is stuck in at the time.
