In the fading light

We went to the farm on the weekend.  CrashHubby called me out in the early evening to help with some wood.  Stepping into my boots I saw the light and quickly ducked back inside for my camera.  Here’s the last 5 minutes of the sun going down on the farm.

Soon we’ll have an extra hour of light in our days.  What will you do with yours?

That sounds nice. We would gave to build our deck first! Which is exactly what CrashHubby and I will be doing with the extra hour each day!

  3. Gorgeous! It only takes a moment to stop and appreciate it, but gosh, you feel all the better for doing it! While we don’t get daylight savings in QLD, spring/summer afternoons for me are winding down, catching up on our day either going for a walk as the sun goes down, or talking about our day over a glass of wine.

I did feel better for taking the moment to stop and appreciate. It was really lovely. I too am looking forward to some family walks. We’re not far from the beach, so I look forward to getting back down to the Esplanade for evening strolls before bedtime :)

  4. Beautiful photos Laney. And that house looks fabulous. Love and old Australian country home :)

  5. Gorgeous pictures Laney. The lavender and the farmhouse are my favorites. With my extra hour I want to re-instate family after dinner walks.
