Story Submitted by Laney on “Hitting the Wall”

I’ve already shared my story on my blog here. Whilst my depression and anxiety are mild, at their worst it felt very severe and real. There were times when I thought it might be better if I just drove out into oncoming traffic. I know I wouldn’t have done this, but the thoughts scared the hell out of me. In some ways there were probably no visible signs that I wasn’t coping, because I didn’t show them to my friends and family. It was CrashHubby’s insistence and understanding that finally got me to go and see someone. But I leant on him for too long. If someone else had asked me if I was OK, I might have done something about it sooner. Is there anyone in your life that sounds like me? Consider asking them, R U OK?
