Summer in New York City with Sussan

For this crash test I travelled both forward and back in time for you simultaneously.

Confused?

I got to experience the 31st of August twice, once near the end of a Melbourne winter and again in a hot humid New York Summer

My trip to New York is like getting an advance on Summer, a tantilising sneak peak. It has been a chance to cast off my dull heavy trackies and try out some light and bright outfits, pushing my colour-blocking boundaries

But I’m loving every detail of the vibrant colours, bright flowers, and the feel of warm breezes on my bare legs. The last time I hung out with Sussan it was down on the farm.

Join me as I take some of the latest pieces from the Sussan Spring/Summer catalogue for a walk along the Chelsea Highline – a refreshing oasis in the middle of the historical grittiness of New York’s Meatpacking District.

Hi Alli – I’m inclined to agree with you having returned to freezing Melbourne temps and snow in the Dandenong ranges! I’m working on the photos I’ve taken, so many. Hope to get a post up tomorrow :)

  6. I love the tank! I have been shopping the last couple of days and the bright colour block look is definitely in this spring! I bought bright blue jeans. I didn’t get to Sussan, but clearly am going to have to go check it out.

The tank is lovely. It’s nice and long and doesn’t ride up. I’ve got a pair of bright blue jeans too ;)
